DOUG PURDON - LECTURES
As well as being a practicing artist Doug taught for the University of Toronto School of
Continuing Studies until 2016. His popular talks focus on Art and Cultural History. In 2012
he was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award by the University of Toronto - School
of Continuing Studies - Faculty of Arts and Science. He has been a guest speaker for many
groups and organisations including, Temple Emanuel, The Toronto Public Library, The
Royal Ontario Musuem, The American Women's Club of Toronto, Durham Lifelong
Living and many others
